Waterway's home port and headquarters is the town of Sicamous on spectacular Shuswap Lake. Located in the sunny interior of British Columbia, Sicamous is the getaway to an incredible world of marine adventure on one of the West's most popular vacation destinations. Our new home is located just south of Sicamous on Highway 97.
With more than 1,000 km (621 miles) of shoreline to explore, Shuswap Lake (shoe-swap) is really an inland sea. Shaped like an elongated "H" and sheltered by forested mountains, the Shuswap boasts 25 marine parks and eight park/ activity sites with sandy beaches. You'll also find Native pictographs, rushing waterfalls, nature trails and private coves. The average water temperature is a comfortable 20C/72F during the summer months.
